Our second Small Business Spotlight is Anchali from Hola, Dear Paper!
Tell us more about you and what inspired you to start your business! Where did the name of your business come from?
Hi everyone, Anchali here. I am a Taiwanese, born and raised in Taiwan until I was 18 years old. I moved to the States about 4 years ago. I have always been a hoarder and an addict for stationery since I was young. Having my own stationery shop with a cafe and journaling station on the side has always been one of my dreams. While I was in college, I was fortunate enough to study in Barcelona and Florence for a bit. They have so many good stationery stores and paper goods. I fell in love with the Latin culture while being in Barcelona so much that I love to listen to Latin music and even start learning dancing salsa and bachata. So, in short, I feel papers, and stationery are my friends that I can connect and talk to. Thus, Hola, dear paper. It kinda represents my greetings to those goods/ friends each time I see them. (And especially nowadays when I unbox awesome stationery goods, I can't help but say hi to them."
What makes you unique + different from other shops?
I think my care to my customers and the efforts that went into my packages to ensure all my customers can have the same "excitement & surprise" I got when I open a good package. In addition, I sincerely love to ask them what they want and allow them to be part of the design process sometimes. (e.g. I have a quote sticker collection, it contains all the quotes that my customers shared with me.)

What planner are you currently using?
Ahhhhh... this is a complicated question. I am using LV MM with A6 inserts for daily + school and LV GM agenda for work. Traveler's notebook passport size as my note and daily nonsense. Ulysses PM as my journal.
What is your favorite product in your shop?
Personally, I really love my tabs in matte and clear. My matte tab is silky smooth, it is addicting to touch.
What is a must have on your desk?
My agendas, lots of pens and a kindle (besides desktop computer).
